Hi, I'm Andrew.

I am an experienced book publishing professional with over 30 years in the industry, most of it in the Christian book sector. I saw thousands of book proposals and worked with hundreds of authors. The most rewarding part of the job was working one on one with authors to help guide them through the confusing world of publishing and book marketing. Now, as an author coach, I bring that same personal touch by coming alongside authors and helping them to meet their goals, by walking with them as they navigate the maze of publishing.

About Andrew Bronson

Andrew got his start in the book industry during his sophomore year of college when his brother bought a bookstore. Through his experiences in that store, he gained the knowledge that led him to manage the bookstore at Tyndale College and Seminary (Toronto, Ontario), for 10 years, after graduation. After a brief stint with a book discount seller, he joined InterVarsity Press and spent the next 23 years learning every aspect of the publishing process. As a marketer, Andrew’s focus was strategizing with authors to broaden their readership. He was privileged to work with top tier authors and marketed multiple bestselling books (including one which reached 1 million copies). He has learned that relationships are the building blocks of every quality endeavor. His approach to working with authors is one of listening, informing, advising, and coming alongside during their journey through publishing. As the Director of Marketing at IVP he saw thousands of book proposals and learned what makes a book successful. With the expertise he gained, he now leads Reading Edge Media where he coaches authors, develops proposals, and offers marketing strategies. He’s a lifelong reader, a weekend gardener, and occasional cyclist. He lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife and two cats. He has three grown children.
